The Madison Makers portfolio was created to showcase the many different projects taken on through the semester. As a group The Makers tackled advertising projects for many different companies while using a wide variety of mediums. The objective of this page is to show the creative process from beginning to end. The Makers included creative briefs, storyboards, hand drawn mock-ups and more to aid the advertisement creation process.

The website has a neutral base with a sage green header and footer for a pop of color that is not overwhelming to the viewer. The goal of the website was to have the color of the photos and projects pop, as that is the most important aspect of the website. In following this minimalist color scheme, the attention of viewers is drawn to the correct places. The Raleway font is used throughout the website. It is an easy to read, san-serif font that does not take away from the visuals on the page. All font is kept black so that readability is not an issue visitors will run into. A consistent hierarchy is created with the headings throughout the site that make it apparent what the viewer is looking at. The photos on the website also add a splash of color that pair cohesively. Overall, the minimalistic color scheme and font help achieve the goal of highlighting the most important aspects of the website while still incorporating color where it is appropriate.
